We are always recording something....usually for our ears only!
So far Shinny has released one five song demo CD. On this CD, "Hockey in the Street" includes parts
of Stompin' Tom Conners "The Hockey Song", that Shinny had licensed to include on their demo. Seeing this song performed live
is an experience! They are currently in the process of reworking and remastering the demo to allow it to more accurately
represent the live shinny experience.
There also exists a more comprehensive 21 song practice CD that includes
numerous Shinny songs in various formats, and a couple covers that the band performs at their live shows. This CD shows the
band at some of their best moments as it captures the high energy that the band has during its live shows. On this disc, some
songs are simply a guitar and vocals as Chris and Brad go through the arrangments of a song, other times it is the band formally
practicing through their sound system, and still others are songs captured by a single ambiant mic when Shinny was a six piece
Band with Mike Fisher on drums!
